Let the Super Bowl snack food binge begin!
Confession: I don’t even like football. (Don’t get me started…) HOWEVER, I cannot resist an opportunity to make some game day grub.
It’s full of sticky and messy, gooey bite-sized mouth morsels.
Platters of tiny overly decadent eats. I love it. Kinda like an American dim sum, but with Doritos and fried foods.
You simply cannot watch the Super Bowl without some kind of wings. And in my humble halftime show-watching opinion, they’ve gotta be sticky & spicy.
Wings do not have to be fried to be gnaw-the-bone good. If you do them right you can make even the toughest jersey-wearer swoon.
This is a recipe anyone can make in their oven. (And I know I shouldn’t mention this but just consider how much better for you they are not dunked in oil…)
A pinch of smoked paprika adds a nice grilled-esque taste.
And that sticky glaze with the balance of the sweetness of the honey and the heat of the sriracha makes me keep lickin’ those fingers and gnawing those bones.
Just watch. They’ll be gone long before the Super Bowl even starts. (i.e. You’d better make a double or triple batch!)
