I may be a simple country gal from Small Town, Kentucky, but give me some sharp knives, a skillet and an oven and I feel at home anywhere.
I get downright giggly with glee over any dish that’s fresh and flavorful with beautiful, bold colors – the whole feast-for-your-eyes thing. And I love to try new dishes, techniques for cooking, ethnicities of food – you name it! Once a recipe gets finely-tuned I move on to the next tasty quest.
I’ve got two crazy quinoa-lovin’ kids and a husband who is along for the ride, whether they like it or not.
Oh, and I LOVE baking. I dream in flour and sugar.
Basically I’m a serial baker/cooker/eater of all things. It’s a tough job, but somebody’s gotta do it.
